ANODIZED STEEL

Anodised steel carries colour created in the surface layer of the metal by electrical current rather than applied as a coat of plating. The result is a bright, iridescent finish across blues, greens, purples and rainbow tones.

The colour can soften with heavy wear and abrasive cleaning, so treat it as healed-piercing jewellery. If you want anodised colour on a nickel-free base, look at anodised titanium in the titanium range.
